THE ODDS
WHAT THE LOCKED ENGINE CAN WRITE, AND HOW OFTEN IT WRITES IT
Read this first. These are roll odds, not final scarcity. The engine writes candidates
at these rates; the vote writes the archive. If the congregation loves a look, it will fill
the Second Archive far past its roll rate, and what the congregation ignores will be rarer in the
end than any number on this page. The "per 5,000" column is what a full archive would hold
if every roll graduated, which nothing ever will. Tendencies, not promises.
The engine is locked: these odds cannot change for the life of the
season, and every piece renders identically forever. The lock hash at the bottom of this page is
the proof. Anyone may verify it: the engine runs in your browser right now.
THE BLOOD TABLE · WHAT EACH BLOODLINE LEANS
citizen → pilgrim · monk · the Order recruits
undead → hooded priest · deepens into the cloth
cat → Bad Trip · passes on a way of seeing
ape → skeleton · bones underneath
moose → snow · aurora skies · remembers winter
robot → Wireframe · dreams in wireframe
banker → saint · buying their way into heaven
the Fifty → Radiant Halo · roll haloed
alien · dragon → their own kind · blood calls to blood
A lean roughly triples the target's odds for that bloodline's
rolls. The final draw always stands. Tendencies, not promises.
THESE ARE THE ODDS OF ROLLING A TRAIT. FINAL RARITY IN THE SECOND ARCHIVE IS
DECIDED BY THE VOTE: WHAT THE CONGREGATION PRESENTS AND CHOOSES IS WHAT BECOMES COMMON, AND WHAT
IT PASSES OVER BECOMES RARE, WHATEVER THE ENGINE'S ODDS SAY.
